Consultoría de Diseño para la rehabilitación del «Edificio ONCE».
Este edificio situado en la calle Recogidas, en pleno centro de la ciudad ,fue diseñado por el arquitecto Luis Álvarez de Cienfuegos y Fernando Ruiz Jaime en 1949 como sede de la ONCE en Granada. Es uno de los pocos ejemplos de la arquitectura racionalista de esta época que se conservan en la ciudad y aunque queda poco del diseño interior original, el edificio sigue manteniendo el uso de oficinas y en gran parte su imagen original exterior.
La intervención se centra en el diseño y rehabilitación las zonas comunes de acceso a las oficinas superiores manteniendo la redistribución que se hizo sobre el proyecto original. De una manera sutil e intencionada, se utiliza el color, la luz, el metal, la madera, la piedra y el vidrio como nuevos elementos materiales que se inspiran en los originales que se usaron para diseñar el edificio.
Se reviste lo existente intentando respetar la arquitectura de este edificio singular y olvidado de Granada.

Design consultancy for the rehabilitation of the «ONCE Building».
This building located on Calle Recogidas, in the heart of the city, was designed by the architect Luis Álvarez de Cienfuegos and Fernando Ruiz Jaime in 1949 as the headquarters of the ONCE in Granada. It is one of the few examples of rationalist architecture from this period that remain in the city and although little remains of the original interior design, the building continues to maintain its office use and largely its original exterior image.
The intervention focuses on the design and rehabilitation of the common access areas to the upper offices, maintaining the redistribution that was made on the original project. In a subtle and intentional way, color, light, metal, wood, stone and glass are used as new material elements that are inspired by the originals that were used to design the building.
The existing is covered trying to respect the architecture of this singular and forgotten building of Granada.
